It’s time to vote for The Tuscaloosa News Girls Athlete of the Week for Oct. 18-24.
Last week’s winner was Fayette County volleyball’s Addie Thomas, who won 53.78% of the vote (11,873) for her 94 assists, 46 digs, 24 kills and six aces across six matches.
There is a separate poll for The Tuscaloosa News Boys Athlete of the Week. Any sport can nominate for athlete of the week and the top performer list.
Nominees for athlete of the week come from the top performers the week before. Coaches and team stat keepers can send in stats to nominate players for top performer lists to sports@tuscaloosanews.com by 11 p.m. Friday. Voting will last until noon Oct. 30.
