The Atlanta Falcons (3-5) and Indianapolis Colts (7-2) kicked off Week 10 from Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany on NFL Network.
The Colts are coming off a rough loss to the Steelers in Week 9, but are in the thick of the race for the AFC's No. 1 seed as one of the league's biggest surprises this season.
Atlanta, meanwhile, has lost three straight and a win over the Colts could help save their season.
Stay tuned for live coverage of today's game as The Athletic's Colts writer James Boyd and Falcons writer Josh Kendall are on the scene.
Pregame Reads
The third quarter is underway with the Falcons receiving the ball with a 14-13 lead.
Zachary G., Colts fan: Daniel jones needs to pump the breaks a little bit. He’s been good, but bad decision making can pull you back down to earth real quick
Paul C., Falcons fan: The Falcons tease has been fully activated. What inventive way will they find to lose? Please post prediction here
Zach C.: Good thing the Colts got extra sauce cause their defense is cooked
John. R: Penix nothing more than Tua in a different uniform. If the falcons are looking to him for their future, it’s gonna be years of mediocrity for fans
STATS
That's a throw by Daniel Jones wishes he had back. Tried to fit one in to Alec Pierce, but it felt like the whole stadium saw that pick coming once he released the ball. Falcons safety Jessie Bates III (who played for Lou Anarumo in Cincy) intercepted it to end the half.
There’s been a lot said and written this week about the last time Lamar Jackson and the Ravens faced a Brian Flores-led defense. It was in 2021 and Flores, then the head coach of the Miami Dolphins, called one Cover Zero blitz after another. The result was arguably the worst regular-season performance of Jackson’s career. Jackson is a much different quarterback than he was in 2021.
In fact, he’s made himself into one of the top quarterbacks in football in the face of the blitz. Flores, the Vikings defensive coordinator, will undoubtedly test Jackson. The Ravens also will need their offensive line, which has struggled for most of this year, to play one of its best games.
Drake London was evaluated for a concussion but has been cleared to return. Dee Alford (concussion), on the other hand, has been ruled out.
Jessie Bates made a veteran play by reading Daniel Jones all the way and grabbing an interception, then a not-so-veteran play by drawing a personal foul penalty (that is probably meaningless considering there are 8 seconds left).
Somehow, despite being outpossessed and outgained yardage-wise by the Colts during this first half, the Falcons lead 14-13. Michael Penix Jr. hits Drake London for a 16-yard touchdown, Zane Gonzalez hits the PAT, and Atlanta is winning.
Q2 3:25 – Falcons 14, Colts 13
Drake London comes down with another big redzone TD. This one was a 16-yard connection with Michael Penix Jr. London has four catches for 72 yards. Atlanta gets the ball to start the second half so a stop here would be key.
By the way, Laiatu Latu is having a nice game so far.
Q2 10:40 – Colts 13, Falcons 7
That's two missed kicks — a PAT and field goal — for Colts kicker Michael Badgley today. That miss was from 53 yards out. It's the Falcons' ball at their own 35.
The NFL began Sunday’s Week 10 games by holding a moment of silence in honor of late Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland.
The moment of silence in Berlin ahead of a game between the Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons was followed by a public-address announcement in English and German that noted: “If you or someone you know is struggling or needs emotional support, please call or text 988. The Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available 24-7 to help.”
The NFL sent a memo to all teams Friday asking them to hold a moment of silence for Kneeland, a team source told The Athletic Saturday. ESPN was first to report news of the memo.
The Colts are out to a lead here in Berlin thanks to Jonathan Taylor and Alec Pierce TDs. The second quarter starts with the Colts on their own 21-yard line.
Defensive back Dee Alford, who is filling in for an injured Mike Hughes, is questionable to return because he's being evaluated for a concussion.
Keith Taylor, a practice squad elevation today, is now in at CB.
Cam Bynum and the Colts have some of the league's best celebrations. Here, they pay homage to R&B group Dru Hill.

Why Vikings safety Cam Bynum is the NFL’s best celebration coordinator (and much more)
Alec Pierce just keeps making himself more money. The Colts' fourth-year receiver, and a soon-to-be free agent, hauls in a 37-yard TD to give Indy a 13-7 lead.
Daniel Jones threw that with a lot of trust and rightfully so because Pierce has earned it throughout his career.
Michael Penix Jr. and the Falcons bounce back from their big mistake on their first drive, going 81 yards in just five plays to take a 7-6 lead. After two completions to Drake London net 43 yards and a pass-interference call gets another 20, Tyler Allgeier blasts into the end zone from 1 yard.
Atlanta should be able to move the ball today. The question may be whether the defense can stop Indianapolis.
Q1 6:57 – Falcons 7, Colts 6
A 1-yard Tyler Allgeier touchdown and Zane Gonzalez's first point as a Falcon give Atlanta the lead. Drake London started the drive with two catches for 43 yards.
After the Colts turned it over on downs, they got the ball back after Cam Bynum strip-sacked Michael Penix Jr. Germaine Pratt recovered the fumble, and Indy scored two plays later on a 1-yard TD run from Jonathan Taylor.
PAT was no good. Colts up 6-0.
Jonathan Taylor ties Edgerrin James for the most rushing touchdowns in Colts history (64) with this score. The score was Taylor's league-leading 13th rushing touchdown and 14th from scrimmage, which also leads the league.
