National drinkware company Tervis reorganizing with new president, chief revenue officer – Sarasota Herald-Tribune

Tervis, the national drinkware company founded in 1946, recently appointed Roger Parsons as new president and chief revenue officer.
Parsons will oversee all aspects of the company’s commercial consumer business strategy, including e-commerce and direct-to-consumer business.
Tervis also announced in August that JV2 Innovative Products, now operating as Tervis LLC, had purchased the company with a majority investment. Rogan Donelly, part of the Tervis founding family, will remain a minority owner.
With more than 35 years of leadership experience in consumer goods, Parsons has held senior executive roles at The Dannon Company, Yankee Candle and Wellness Pet Company, where he led initiatives that delivered significant revenue growth and brand expansion. Parsons has a master’s degree in business administration from Bentley University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Northeastern University.

The Charlotte DeSoto Building Industry Association’s Professional Women in Building Council recently hosted its annual Bella Donna Gala, recognizing leadership, talent, and dedication, and named Jessica Overcash of Integrity Electric as new PWB chair, succeeding Sandra Cheek of LeBeau Construction.
The PWB, chartered in 2020, empowers women in construction through mentoring, networking, and scholarships. Bella Donna Award recipients included the Suzanne Graham Legacy Award: Linda Pizarro – 40+ years strengthening Realtor–builder partnerships; Beth Cantin Brown Gaining Momentum Award: Linda Shafer – active in every CDBIA subgroup; Building Our Future Award: Jill McCrory – philanthropist; Caryn Huff-Sufferling Work in Progress Award: Kellie Dunson Allen – Habitat for Humanity advocate; Lady Boss Award: Jacki Johnson and Jamie Reynoso – lifelong friends and mentors to industry women; Champion of Building: Joan LeBeau – returned from retirement to guide Punta Gorda through storms and staffing challenges; He-Ra Award: Mark Kemeny – PWB supporter and youth mentor.
Also, Frinee Mattesich was honored for 30 years of service, and a scholarship has been named in honor of Melanie Griffin, secretary of business and professional regulation.
Bentley Goodrich Kison recently announced that Morgan R. Bentley and Amanda R. Kison have been selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
Managing partner Bentley also receiving a Lawyer of the Year recognition. He was honored for his work in the practice areas of commercial litigation and real estate litigation. Kison was selected for her work in commercial litigation. Bentley Goodrich Kison focuses on business litigation, real estate litigation, and appeals.
Jacqueline House, vice president of communications and community engagement for child welfare agency Safe Children Coalition, recently recertified as a Certified Fund Raising Executive.
House, who has been working in the philanthropic realm since 1996, is one of more than 7,700 professionals around the world who hold the CFRE designation. She has held the CFRE certification since September 2019. Individuals who receive the credential have met a series of standards set by CFRE International that includes tenure, education, and fundraising achievement.  
House also serves as a board member for the Charitable Gift Planners of Southwest Florida and the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Southwest Florida chapter.
· Residential real estate brokerage Douglas Elliman Inc. has announced that The Schemmel Soda Group has joined the firm’s Sarasota office. Previously with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, the team is led by co-founders Joel Schemmel and Donna Soda and includes agents Sharon Chiodi and Patti Tebo
· The Gulf Coast Community Foundation recently named Elizabeth Welch as director of professional adviser relationships.
