FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) – A comprehensive program returns for a second year, helping Freeport small business owners learn essential knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive market.
The Business Academy for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs (BASE) Camp returns on January 28.
The class is created to support aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners who are looking to grow, culminating with a business pitch competition where graduates compete for a $2,000 cash prize to help their business thrive.
Put on by the Greater Freeport Partnership, the program consists of six evening classes spread over twelve weeks. The full series of classes will cost $200, and individual classes cost $50.
Scholarships are available to cover up to $150 of the full series. The scholarship questionnaire is available in the BASE Camp registration.
Each BASE Camp class will be held in person at the Greater Freeport Partnership office, located at 110 W. Main St.
