GREENVILLE, N.C. — The U.S. Small Business Administration, Pitt County, and the City of Greenville hosted a town hall aimed at providing resources to small business owners. The event sought to educate and energize local businesses by connecting entrepreneurs with tools to support rural economic development.
Dozens of attendees participated in a panel discussion with resource partners and had opportunities to network with area vendors.
Danielle Tyson, who attended the town hall, shared her plans for the future. "I came because I want to get some information on starting my business. My business is called Abundant Transitions. And my whole goal is to help mature adults that’s been staying in their home long-term, down-size and relocate," Tyson said.
Emily Yeager, interim director of the ECU Crisp Small Business Resource Center, said opportunities like these inspire pride and continued investment in small businesses.
