Fire crews respond to Tucson business following power outage – KOLD

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A fire may have sparked at a Tucson business following a power outage on Wednesday, Jan. 8.
According to the TEP Outage Map, there was a small power outage in the area of Sixth Street and 4th Avenue.
TEP said it was due to equipment damage caused by the weather.
13 News sent a photographer to the scene and saw several TEP vehicles working on power lines.
A short time later, 13 News got an alert about a fire at a business in the area.
A Tucson Fire Department spokeswoman on the scene said the fire was related to the outage.
According to property documents, the fire was at a towing company called Downtown Auto Center. The address was 330 North 5th Avenue.
