Technology issue affecting 911 calls in San Joaquin County – KCRA Sacramento

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office is experiencing technology issues leading to busy tones when callers try to reach 911.
“Our team is working diligently to resolve this issue as quickly as possible,” the sheriff’s office said in a post on Facebook.
“We want to assure the community that our deputies are actively responding to emergencies and patrolling as usual,” the post read.
Callers trying to reach 911 are asked to continue trying to call or to call the office’s emergency lines at 209-468-4421 or 209-468-4422.
