AF Honest Home Services is a woman-owned HVAC company that has been operating in Spokane for 3 years.
Owner Amanda French says the company uses equipment from Canada, Mexico and China and she is worried about how tariffs will impact prices
“People are coming and asking us what’s going to happen, and I’m asking people too, I mean it’s just this chain of, what are we going to do, what’s going to change, how is this going to affect us moving forward? Because it’s not like this is a far-away problem. This is a problem that’s gonna happen right now,” said French.
As of Monday, Feb. 3, President Trump agreed to a 30-day hold on the tariffs on Mexico and Canada. which are two of America’s largest trading partners.
