Dani Maxwell is the News Director at WKOW 27 News. Prior to becoming News Director, Dani was an anchor and Executive Producer of Wake Up Wisconsin and spent several years as the Assistant News Director. Dani has 25 years of journalism experience, mainly as an anchor and reporter in Wisconsin, Illinois and Colorado. Dani has won numerous professional awards, including an Emmy, a regional Edward R. Murrow award and various awards from the Wisconsin and Illinois Broadcasters Associations.
(WKOW) — Here is a list of closings and delays due to frigid temperatures this week.
Columbia County
Camp Createability in Madison and Portage will be closed for in-person classes. They will still provide virtual classes.
Dane County
Infinity Martial Arts in Oregon has cancelled classes for Monday evening, January 20.

WayForward Resources (formerly Middleton Outreach Ministries) in Middleton will close its office and food pantry on Tuesday, January 21.
The Senior Center in Middleton will be closed on Tuesday, January 21.
All indoor and outdoor MSCR (Madison School & Community Recreation) programs are closed Tuesday, January 21 due to extreme cold. Virtual programs will still take place. MSCR buildings and offices are closed.

JustDane (former Madison-area Urban Ministry) offices will be closed Tuesday, January 21. The Service Fair planned for Tuesday evening is also canceled. Classes at Just Bakery at 1708 Thierer Road will still occur on Tuesday.
Green County Habitat for Humanity Resale Store will be closed Tuesday, January 21.
Juneau County
All Juneau County meal sties are closed Monday, January 20 and Tuesday, January 21. This includes dine-in and home delivered in meals provided by ADRC of Eagle Country – Juneau County Office.
Rock County
Caritas in Beloit will be closed Tuesday, January 21 due to cold temperatures.
