SAN ANTONIO — Students can now earn a four-year degree in business operations management at Palo Alto College.
The San Antonio-based college is offering its first-ever four-year degree, the Bachelor of Applied Technology in Operations Management (B.A.T.).
The degree program is offered entirely online through the online learning portal Alamo U. One distinctive feature for this program is its capstone course – where students try to find solutions for real-world business problems alongside local business representatives.
Students will be able to obtain their degree with a flexible schedule that was made for those with busier lifestyles. The program has accelerated 8-week courses and multiple start dates throughout the year.
The bachelor’s degree will provide students with the skills to streamline business operations, optimize productivity and lead teams to produce high-quality results in the business industry.
“The launch of this degree program represents a major milestone for Palo Alto College. We’re excited to offer a pathway to higher education that meets the needs of today’s learners and prepares them to navigate leadership roles in a rapidly changing workforce,” Dr. Robert Garza, President of Palo Alto College, said.
