ChainCatcher news, according to ajunews, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea (MOFA) issued a statement on its official website in conjunction with the United States and Japan, explaining North Korea’s alleged involvement in cryptocurrency theft and emphasizing the importance of public-private sector cooperation.
According to the three organizations, North Korea stole approximately $660 million in cryptocurrency in 2024. This includes $308 million stolen from DMM Bitcoin, $50 million from Upbit, $16.13 million from Rain Management, $235 million from WazirX, and $50 million from Radiant Capital.
